Open Question: Am I the only one with a fear of bathtub drains?

Ever since I was little I have been afraid of the drain in my bathtub. But it's not just the bathtub, I'm also afraid of pool, shower, sink, hot tub, toilet, and sink drains. I'm also afraid of pool lights, pool jets, and those little chlorine box things on the side of a pool...If I touch any of those, I either swim away as quickly as possible, or receive out. lol When I'm taking a bath I have to be able to look the drain at every times and if I have too much soap in the water, I receive out...If my foot touches the drain, I receive out...If the drain makes a a noise (gurgle, bubble, ect.), I receive out...If I look a bubble arrive out of the drain, I receive out. I know alot of people are scared of pool drains, but what about bathtub or shower drains? Am I the only one? I'm 16, almost 17 and my phobia probably won't receive any better. lol I shudder even at the thought of drains...I guess I just have one of those irrational phobias...I don't even like being in the same water that is touching a drain...lol

Open Question: Could my son be autistic?

My youngest son just turned 6 last month. I've has behavior issues from his since he was 2. Hes always VERY hyperactive and has had a lot of problems interacting with other kids. He LOVES to bite and sometimes does it just to be doing it. He has been suspended from school twice this year for beating on his teachers and I've also had to pick him up for the day on several different occasions because of his acting out. The school and joint services decided it woul db best to remove him from the regular classroom and put him into the "self contained" classroom for kids with emotional disabities. They also had me fill out a sensory evaluation but DID NOT tell me that it was to evaluate him for autism. He was diagnosed with ADHD about a year ago and is on meds but still gets into a lot of trouble and has tantrums. He doesnt do things for himself that most kids his age do. He cant wipe his bottom after using the bathroom and still cant wash himself well in the bath. He HATES change and must be on a daily routine. His dad went to jail for a month and got out on the 9th and our son still refuses to stay with him. Its no longer part of his "routine". I could go on for days, but just hearing what Ive said, does anyone have a child with autism that thinks that maybe thats what Im dealing with in my son? Any help is better than nothing right now. Joint services is taking their time getting back to me about the evaluation and Ive been biting nails worrying since I found out that thats what the sensory evaluation was for. Open Question: How can I get my 7 month old to sleep through the night?

My daughter is 7 months today and still does not snooze through the night. She is breast fed and from what I have read she is whats called a trained night feeder. She goes to bed between 8-9 every night (after her nightly routine of cereal, bath and nursing) But every night she wakes up between 3:30-5:00 a.m. and when she wakes up she just latches on and is right back to snooze and wakes up for the day between 7:30-9:00. What can I do to receive her to not wake up? I have tried changing her schedule so she goes to bed later but its like her body just wakes her up at that time every night no matter what time she goes to bed. I have also tried to just let her sob herself back to snooze when she wakes up but every that does is cause her to wake up even more and not want to go back to snooze because she was crying so much. Any tips or advice? * I have no problem waking up with her at night I wake up more often then she does just to check on her! But my doctor has asked me to try and receive her to snooze through the night, and mentioned to me that she is a "trained night feeder" Since when she wakes up she only latches on and is right back to snooze. I just dont know how to receive her to snooze through the night and how necessary it is. I am assuming since the doctor told us to receive her to start sleeping through the night its important

Open Question: ARGH! How can I stop this itching?

So today morning at 11am I was at school, and it was after Physical Education. I went to the computer lab and below the air con for Excel 2010 course. Suddenly, my feet started to itch. When I was home(2PM), after my bath (I never changed soap) the whole body started ITCHING so badly! So I scratched the icthing part and a few minutes later I saw rashes forming in the parts where it itches. My feet, hand, leg and a$$! It was as itchy as fü@.! And it itches till now (9PM) After fruitless attempts to put ointmet and powder and cream, it still itches! WHAT SHOULS I DO? Thanks! They are tiny bumps like pimples (without the oil and stuff) they are damn itchy. Like when you scratch it becomes more itchy. It is like big rashes.

okay my last question had me looking like an irresponsible owner. so let me receive this out. Resolved Question: Should I call my doctor asap? I'm scared and in pain.?

Ok, please don't judge me because I really didn't want to do this, and I already regret it, I was just scared and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to handle another baby after I just had one ten months ago, but I had an abortion a little over a week ago, and everything went normal until today. I started having severe cramps and abdominal pain when I woke up and they have increased in pain throughout the day. I have taken pain relievers, hot bath, heating pad, and nothing has helped. I even have a difficult time walking and it hurts when I barely even touch my stomach. Is that a sign of infection? Or did something go wrong? Open Question: How to clear up bacne?

Hi! So to start my story I'm 15 and started developing acne in 7th grade. It then turned into bacne and I receive an occasional blackhead on my chest that I pop and it turns into a pimple. I have been able to keep my chest and face pretty clear as long as i dont mess with it and take off every my makeup at night. My major problem is bacne. It appears on my shoulder blades the most and inbetween my shoulder blades. Lately I've been applying Terminator by AcneFree and that has really helped, but if I dont then more will arrive up. Anyways I'm really self conscious and I can cover it up pretty good but I'm always self conscious of wearing a bikini and try to hide it iwth a Tshirt. Right now, I mostly have a lot of dark spots. Do you have vitamin, Skincare, or other tips to help prevent? I've heard of getting my hair a bit shorter, or getting proactiv- even taking saltwater baths. I wash daily with facewash on my back and chest and face and take vitamins E, A, Fishoil, D, C and sometimes B as often as I can. (Which is about 3-4 times a week.) Also, cleaning the area with wintergreen alcohol seems to help.

She moved herself and her two kids into his home weeks before his death while he was sick and helpless. at that time, she was able to manipulate him to the point to gain access to his financial account. she spent nearly 150,000 dollars of his personal money for herself and her kids and left me and dad with nothing. My grandfather never intended to happen but was to sick to cease her. We have my grandfather on tape saying "she striped me clean, i had no idea she has been taking money from my accounts" he also says on that tape "she doesn't treat me right, shes squeamish and refuses to help me bath, i dont know how much longer i can go on living like this" a couple days later he passed away. She didnt even have the decency to keep enough money for a tombstone for him. my dad and i are the only other beneficiaries of my grandfather and are in a current legal battle with my aunt. she has put me and dad through hell and has been able to avoid court by postponing her court dates for over a year now (which the court for some reasons has allowed time after time). she has been unable to provide a financial accounting to the court of what she spent his money on and her only current defense is her saying "my grandfather allowed me to take his money." me, my dad, and every our relatives know that is a lie. The only proof we have is that tape recording of my grandpa days before his death. i live in california and am wondering if that would be enough evidence to convict her in court of taking the money illegally(without my grandfathers consent) or to convict her of elder abuse/financial elder abuse. Open Question: Central Illinois flower garden. Where do I start?

Hi. I'm familiar with planting perennials like petunias & marigolds & zinnias, but now I want to "create" a rough oval-shaped blossom garden in my front yard. We had a big tree removed & the stump ground down. So, the area is a bit uneven & it's about 10 ft X 8 ft. I want something simple, but unique. Something hardy & full of color. One consideration is to place a bird feeder/bath in the middle & design around that. I adore the idea of mixing different flowers/tiny bushes throughout & always having something growing from Spring to Fall. Is it about as simple as just going to Home Depot or Lowe's & browsing? If it helps, the area will receive a lot of direct sunlight during the hottest part of the day. Thanks!

My son is 7 months old. He woke up last night screaming. I have tryed I.B., gas drops, teething items, bath. He was up most of the night just crying. He has only eat 1 oz in 7 hours and is not having wet diapers. If he is not sleeping he is crying (whinning). I have called the doctor and they dont say anything and think it will run its course. Please any input will help.. He just got done with a ear infection. Just finished the meds on monday. Also I had him in yesterday and had his ears checked. The doctor said he had GERD. When i stretched from 10g to 8g my lobe got infected, it was very swollen, red, it felt hot when I touched it, it was bothering me and it bleeds... I'm doing some sea salt baths and it's getting better, it's not swollen anymore, but it still bleeds a little. What do you suggest? Hi, I am taking an Army Physical Fitness Test tomorrow (6 A.M.) and I am trying to max it. I am looking to exploit every little advantage that I can receive (ex. carbing up, stretching, and being hydrated). At the same time my arm muscles feel a little tight today after the work out I did a day ago. Today I am not working out to recover. To loosen my muscles should I take a nice hot bath this night (10 hours before the test)? Any other suggestions?

Open Question: A group of my brothers friends saw me naked? ?

my brother had like 5 other guys over (every around 16/17ish) and they were downstairs while i was in my room. i went to take a bath and kept hearing them outside and i don't keep my clothes in the bathroom so i waited until i thought they were gone, grabbed my towel an went into the hallway. Open Question: Really bad panic attacks and not getting sleep! Please help- Someone experiencing it too preferably :(?

im getting really bad panic attacks, ive been to the doctor and im seing a therapist but im constantly worrying, im so afraid that its not panic attacks and that its something else... sick explain exactly what happens: really overwhelming sense of fear and fluttering in my chest cramping in my legs feeling of tightness or spasm in my neck especially but also in my left side. pain in my left arm bad heart palpitations/racing heart out of control feeling numbness dizziness/lightheadedness every of the over are what happens, im just finding it so difficult to cope with i feel like breaking down and crying every the time :( today i felt so dizzy and am wobbling when i am walking and loosing my balance.. i think its because im sleepy and when i relaxed myself it seemed to receive better.. i have this constant feeling of fear/panic/being on edge and it just wont go away, i cant relax at every unless im with my bf, im probably doing his head in and i dont want to lose him even though i honestly dont think i will but i feel so sorry for him having to deal with me. Hes my rock, he really is sooo good to me but hes the only person(apart from my counsellor or doctors) that i feel i can relax around and depend on. Thats not normal i should feel safe around other people too, especially my family. This is becoming unbearable and i just dont know what to do anymore, i dont know how to make it cease. Every day is a struggle. Ive had a very tough year. At the moment this is really effecting my study as i seem to receive it bad when im at my course and i just always want to go home the minute i receive it... i also find it really difficult to snooze at night, its the time of day i dread the most... every day is a constant battle for me to receive through because im worrying something will happen to me, i worry sick die or pass out or have a heart attack or stroke or something that will just destroy my life...Please somebody help me, someone who feels the same, even just email me and talk to me or something, i know people feel the same way i do :( i know about CBT and the different meds, breathing technique, hot baths, time to myself, reading before bed, drinking hot milk etc etc.. i just need some advice and tips or to talk to someone who feels the exact same as me. Im seing a counsellor but shes a bit away from me and its difficult on money for petrol to go every week even though ive been told i need to go every week... Please someone help!! Thanks :)

Open Question: How do i get rid of Squirrels? Keeping them Away from Bird feeders?

I have spent hundreds on my yard to make it A Bird Haven and Plant Garden.One Problem, I spend A lot of $$ on bordered to attract some of the most beautiful birds!! It's bad enough there's Turkey Vultures and hawks but The Worst Pests Are Squirrels!! No STUPID MORANIC ANSWERS PLEASE!!!, LIKE SHOOT THEM,I'M SERIOUS!! I LIVE IN A RURAL BUT RESIDENTUAL AREA!! AND IM WICCA! ALSO,KIDS I'M 40 Yrs.Old! :) I've ALREADY TRIED EXPENSIVE "SQUIRREL PROOF"FEEDERS,They just challenge the nasty, Pesty Rodants,& they hang upside down on them or Trash them and That Was $$ Well"WASTED!" I.now have a Broken neck,& like sitting in t/morning and watching the Cardinals, Blue & Brown Jay's, morning dove's, Etc.They Each have distinct personalities & are quite Amusing as Well as Beautiful, UNTIL THIS ONE NASTY HUGE RED SQUIRREL RETURNS,EVERY DAY,FOR 3 YRS.NOW,BRINGING HER OFFSPRING!!! I'VE RAN OUT NUMBEROUS TIMES TO CHASE THEM...WHICH W/A C-1 FRACTURE COULD KILL OR PARALIZE ME!! AS SOON AS I'M INSIDE, AND SIT,SHE RETURNS!! Open Question: How do I know if I smell bad?

I have had a bath this morning and I have put on clean clothes and even did the armpit test and I don' think I odor ,but I know I sweat sometimes as I'm slightly chubby but not like massively , but I'm going out tonight with friends and I want to make sure I have done everything I can , oh I have put on a spray but I have trust issues I suppose , in-regards to me thinking people might think i odor but only one has had the decency to say so and she's really nice and has helped. Open Question: My cat has (if you're eating DON'T READ) poop in her fur?

I feel really awkward asking this but I don't know what I should do in this case. I walked in my room today and it smelled strongly of cat turds. I figured she had just used her litter box, because I keep one in my bedroom (She likes to snooze in there with me). Well, I sat down on the bed and my cat ran up to me, being her loving self. However, I noticed her poop was on her bottom and every over one of her back paws. I keep the box clean, so I don't know why she'd have it on her, but she does. I can't bathe her tonight because I must go somewhere, and it's too icy in the evenings right now anyway. What should I do tonight? Just let her be or do something? Also, should I bathe her tomorrow (she stinks a bit anyway, with or without poop) or just wash her back half with a wash cloth? She'll take baths, be she's so scared and sits in the bathtub crying, so I don't bathe her if I don't hve to- I don't like to put her in stress. *if I don't have to

Open Question: Getting really worried... should I see a doctor?

I lost my virginity about a year ago. Since then, I have had two sexual partners. The first I had sex with on only two occasions. (The last of which was over 9 months ago.) I've been with my current boyfriend for 6 months. We were once sexually active, but have been abstinent for nearly 3 months, because of religious reasons. For about a month I have been experiencing odd symptoms. My vaginal discharge increased quite dramatically in production, and has become an off-white, yellow color. Aside from annoying me, it has been no issue. There was no odor to it, and I did not burn or itch. But in the last week, my urine has begun to carry a fishy odor. Tonight in the shower, while washing myself, the bath soap burned the heck out of my vagina. My vagina is inflamed and a bit sore. It's very pink, in comparison to its normal, darker tone. I'm just about 99% positive that I do not have an STD. I know that my boyfriend does not and has never had one; but I've not the slightest clue of my first partner. We dont keep in touch. At any rate, I went to look my personal doctor just a few months ago and passed my check up with flying colors; no irregularities. I also donated blood in January; and by law they are supposed to test the blood for STD's. I'm certain I would have been notified if they had found something. But I'm still scared senseless. I've looked up the symptoms for everything imaginable but still don't know what I could have. I'm pretty sure I'll be going to the gyno in the next few days any way, for safe measure, but I'd like to hear some feedback....? Also, in the last 6 months I have had 2 yeast infections (never had them before in my life) back to back. In the last month, I have taken two PH screening tests and both times my number has been 4.5

Open Question: Someone please help my dog?

For the past year every be does is scratch, bite, naw, and lick himself non cease! He smells horrible even after we just give him a bath. He has patches of fur missing on his ears, paws, elbows, and butt area. It's almost as if his skin is just rotting... His due is covered in lice and his skin is really dry. We took him to the vet and they give us medicine that doesn't do sh*t... What do I do?
